childresource.info
Normally I try to keep my complaining to a minimum, but I'm really smarting about this.

I have been a member of a parenting forum, EB, since before I was even pregnant, and have met some wonderful women there, including my December Parents group. I don't really feel the need to join another parenting group, but I signed up to childresource.info when my parents group decided to move over there. Just this past week, the group moved back to EB because some of our members didn't follow us over there, and the group wanted to stay together as best we could.

Once the decision to move had been made, one of the girls who is a fairly active member on CR(childresource.info), left a thankyou note for letting us have our group there. In turn, the administrators there decided to have our threads removed citing privacy issues, and lack of relevance to their members. Because they don't have other summer mums there? But I digress, because I don't want to comment on why they did, I don't know why, it's just very bloody weird.

When I asked what had happened and why it had happened and basically challenged all their reason, I was banned by the administrator, citing conduct not constructive for their forum. I guess that part I don't care so much about, it's the lost posts that upset me. I don't remember all of Ks milestones, but I remember sharing them within the group, and knew I could get dates that way. I can't anymore, and I know it's my own fault, but it's still blows.

At the end of the day, when we signed up there we did agree that they owned and could do whatever they wanted to do with our posts, but it just really sucks because we've lost a good six months worth of memories which we can apparently never get back. Sucks so hard.

Anyhoo, I guess I just want the word out there to be wary about this forum. I didn't have a good experience with them.

Week 24
It's official, I can no longer sleep on m back anymore. sad

It makes my head feel all funny and woozy. It's probably for the best as my back pain was pretty awful, but I miss being on my back!

At least I can still sleep on my tummy.

Had Nanny and Aunty Ol over for dinner last night, which was lovely, and went out for lunch today to Wangamama with Mum and Lach.

Um. Have a bit of a cold, which is leaving me feel all kinds of yuck, but it isn't as bad as the last one, which makes me very happy.

I'm looking forward to next week, because I only have to go into work three days instead of five, which will hopefully allow me to sort out a mechanic for the car and a driving instructor for DJ.

new blog
Welcome to my new public blog!

This is where I'll mostly ramble about work, home, and being pregnant.

The gallery is already up and running, featuring photos from various trips and family get togethers.

Once done, the goodies page will be full of music downloads and other various things I post. Expect videos of my cats probably, and the baby when he arrives.
